Tooth Extractions at Perfect Teeth Dental
At Perfect Teeth Dental, we always do our best to preserve your natural teeth — because nothing manmade can truly match the strength and function of your own.
However, in some situations, removing a tooth may be the only option. This could be due to severe decay, infection, or a lack of healthy tooth structure or supporting bone. In every case, we carefully assess your condition and only recommend extraction when absolutely necessary.
Before any tooth is removed, we’ll talk through your options for replacing it. Whether it’s an implant, bridge, or denture, we’ll help you choose the right solution to restore your smile — either immediately or after a short healing period of 3 to 6 months, depending on your needs.
What to Expect During a Tooth Extraction
During your appointment, we’ll clearly identify the tooth to be removed and review your dental X-rays with you. Once you’re ready to proceed, the area will be fully numbed using local anaesthetic to ensure a pain-free experience.
We won’t begin until you’re completely comfortable. You may feel gentle pressure as the tooth is loosened and carefully removed — but no sharp pain.
Our team is here to support you every step of the way, from the procedure itself to aftercare and long-term restoration options.
