We are accredited to use the most trusted system for straightening your teeth, Invisalign. Our Dentists can correct the simplest of crowding with Invisalign Go to more comprehensive Teeth Straightening with our Cosmetic Dentist, Dr Tasleem Ahmed who is an accomplished Invisalign Platinum Provider.

Invisalign uses nearly invisible aligners to straighten your teeth. At consultation you will be offered a scan of your teeth using the latest iTero 5D Element Intra-Oral Scanner. The scan is sent to Align Tech who will make you a series of bespoke, custom-made aligners to fit your teeth. You will instructed to change your aligners in sequence about every one-two weeks. Every time the aligners are changed and placed on the teeth, they cause the teeth to gradually move over time leading to straighter teeth. This sequence is determined through a collaborative approach using your iTero Scan, the expertise of Align Tech & your treating Invisalign Dentist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Invisalign is a discreet way to straighten your teeth. Using our iTero 5D Element intra-oral scanner, your final result can be seen before starting your treatment! A set of clear aligners will be made bespoke for your teeth. Each clear aligner needs to be worn for about 1 to 2 weeks before being changed to the next in sequence. You may also require IPR (inter-proximal reduction) where minimal amounts of interdental tooth surface are removed in order to create space so that the teeth can gradually move to straighten. The length of time depends on where your teeth start and will be kept under close supervision by your Invisalign Dentist.
Invisalign aligners are clear and discreet, they are barely noticeable when worn. As the aligners are removable, you can also drink and eat whatever you wish throughout the course of Invisalign by taking out the aligners before a meal. It is easier to brush and floss your teeth with Invisalign compared to conventional fixed metal braces. There are fewer appointments and adjustments that you would need to attend for, compared to conventional fixed braces.

General Dentist

Poonam has 12 years experience as a General Dentist. She did her Overseas Registration Exam in 2012. Since her graduation she has completed courses in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry and is currently doing a PG Diploma in Endodontics.

She loves her work and hence regularly attends courses in  Dentistry to keep her  updated  in the profession.

As a part of her Continual Professional Development, she  has  completed a number of Consultant led courses in Restorative Dentistry from Eastman Dental Hospital . This has equipped her with the skills to provide a high level of Dental treatments.

When she is not busy in the clinic, she likes to spend time with her family and enjoys walking and reading books.
